The product's highly reflective and durable surface reduces heat loss through the roof, ceiling, wall or floor, therefore enhancing the thermal performance of the system. The upper and lower layers are made of aluminium polyethylene film and the inner part is reinforced with PP network, which gives this foil insulation an extremely high tensile strength.

The top layer of polyethylene is metallized with the heat-reflective surface of aluminium. The internally reinforced membrane sheet covers both the structure from the ingress of water, acting as a reliable heat absorption layer.

The insulation film protects the roof structure from moisture ingress, prevents condensation of water vapor in the insulation. FL is a three-layer material, which is based on a reinforcing mesh of polypropylene fibers, on which polyethylene is applied on both sides, and an aluminized layer can also be applied. Our product line also includes vapor barrier films that do not have internal reinforcement and consist of one or two layers of polyethylene. These vapor barrier films perform the function of vapor barrier much better than films made of several layers, but are somewhat inferior to the latter in strength. In any case, the use of such vapor barrier films is preferable. It is even better to use foil vapor barrier: due to the presence of a reflective metallized layer, most of the infrared (thermal) radiation is reflected.
